Where are you located?

Our studio is currently located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  We moved here in 2017 from Alexandria, Virginia.  We have found the peace of the countryside and strong community values quite inspirational to our celebrations.  It has been a wonderful new place to call home.

What kinds of products to your offer?

Katarina's Paperie is an online stationery shop offering a variety of designs to make your celebrations shine.  

You will find digital and paper designs perfect for child's birthday, an upcoming baby shower, religious milestone, holiday celebration or other important event.

We currently handcraft our invitations, thank you notes, 100% waterproof water bottle labels and favor tags.

Our studio also offers other product options - including guest books, gifts, tees, baby bodysuits and art prints - to make your celebrations (and life) shine.  These are printed out of the studio by our trusted vendors.

Do you send proofs of my designs?

Proofs are sent for ALL handcrafted and customized orders.  This includes invitations, notecards, favor tags, stickers and other designs that include personalization.  Your order includes one proof and one round of revisions.  

Proofs are not sent for digital designs even if customized.  If you purchase a digital design and find a mistake in your final files, we are happy to fix it free of charge.

For products that require no customization, they are sent directly to print.

What types of payments do you accept?

We accept Paypal and all major credit cards.

Will the colors on my custom designs be the same as the colors that I see on my monitor or the screen of my mobile device?

The colors you see on your monitor or mobile device screen may vary in the colors of the final product.  Even though the colors cannot be guaranteed, we try hard to make sure that the colors of the designs printed are a close a match as possible to the final version.

For digital designs, colors are determined by the printer you are using and quality of paper.  

When viewing our designs, it is best to use a desktop or laptop computer.  If designs are viewed on a mobile device - such as a cell phone or tablet - extreme color variations can occur.

We also recommend test printing your design to check for any color variations before printing the final copies.  This will help ensure accuracy that you like the results of that printer.

What is the process for making handcrafted designs?

We are proud to continue to offer handcrafted designs to our customers.  We currently handcraft our invitations, notecard, favor tags and water bottle labels.

The handcrafted design process includes a proof, printing and hand cutting services.  When ordering printed invitations, make sure that we are able to complete your order before your event.

Our turn around time for handcrafted orders is 5 to 7 business days.  You will also need to leave 3 to 5 business days for shipping.

Feel free to send us the date of your event upon ordering to help ensure that you get your order on time.

Once I place my order, is it final?

All orders are final.  If you have purchased a handcrafted item that is made in our studio, you may receive a refund as long as no design work has been completed.  If you change your mind about your order, please let us know as soon as possible and we will see if a refund can be issued.

Since instant downloads are delivered directly to your mailbox, we are unable to refund the purchase no matter the circumstance.

I love the invitation or party design, but would like to use different colors.  Is this possible?

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer color changes on any of our designs.  All of our designs are sold as is and we try to offer some color choice options on our designs when possible.

Can I make wording changes on the invitation or other party design?

We can make wording changes to your invitation and party designs, but they must fit the current layout.  We do not create new layouts to fit your wording needs.

If you have wording customizations, please let us know in the Notes Section at Checkout.  We will contact you if we do not think they will work.

Once you created the invitation with my wording, I don't like the type any more.  It's hard to read.  Can I change it?

Sometimes, when you receive the proof, you might decide that your chosen wording is difficult to read in the current typeset.  When purchasing one of our designs, you are also buying the use of those fonts on that design.

We work hard to select type for our invitations to give them a certain feel and look.  If you are unhappy with the font the way it appears on your design, we are happy to switch the current font for another font used on the design.  Unfortunately, we are unable to introduce new fonts into the invitation design.

What kind of paper are your products printed on?

Our handcrafted invitations, notecards and favor tags are printed on 120 pound smooth white cardstock.  This cardstock was selected after months of paper quality testing and is the thickest cardstock we've found.  It is thicker that the cardstock used at many local print shops.  We receive lots of compliments on the quality of our paper stock and are proud to offer our customers only the best.

Does my invitation order come with envelopes?

Your invitations and thank you notes come with heavy 80 pound white envelopes.

Are your water bottle labels waterproof?

Yes!  We are excited to offer our customers 100% waterproof water bottle labels.  The colors will not run or smear when placed in liquids, which means you can chill your water bottles on ice.  Hooray!

What water bottles will the labels fit?

Each water bottle label measures 2" x 8.5".  They fit most commercial water bottle brands including mini water bottles.  We recommend removing the original water bottle label before adhering your custom water bottle label.  You can find more detailed instructions about water bottle labels here.

Do you offer coupons or discount codes?

Of course!  Everyone loves a sale!  Check the banner on our home page to see if there are any current sales.  Be sure to also sign up for our monthly newsletter for free printables, flash sales and other deals.

I'm not located in the United States, but wanted to place an order.  I noticed that you only currently ship to the United States.  Can I still place an order?

Unfortunately, we only currently ship our products to United States customers.  If you are interested in placing an international order, check out our Etsy shop.  You will find many of our designs there available to international customers.

What happens if my package is lost or stolen in transit?

On occasion, packages are sometimes lost or stolen during transit.  Although we are not liable for packages once they are delivered to the postal service, we will work with you to find your order. 

Every now and again, shipping can take a little longer than estimated, so we recommend following the tracking information on your package.

If you package says it was delivered, but never arrived, we recommend speaking with your mail carrier or local post office to check on its status.  You can also check with the neighbors to see if it was delivered to the wrong location.

I ordered an Instant Download, where is my file?

We are happy to offer some of our designs as Instant Download.  Instant Downloads are fantastic for those planning last minute or if you want a quick addition to your celebration.

Your Instant Download is available for download from our website in about ten minutes of completing your payment.

All of our Instant Downloads are PDF files and you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to print.  Just let us know if you have any questions about your files.  We are happy to help.

What are the terms of use for my digital files?

Your digital files are for personal use only.  Katarina's Paperie retains all right.  Files may not be shared, forwarded, sold or distributed.  Please do not copy.
